Hawfinch's were feeding with the Chaffinches probably on Hornbeam seed in mature woodland bordering us to the east. I suspect there was more than 4, but difficult to observe
Wood Pigeons present for last few days, amazing how few I have seen here when UK seems to be over-run with them.
Tree Sparrows just north of us near our neighbours.
Great Spots heard from our home, 4 to the rear and 1 at the front.

Liplje around home
Incredible temperatures again today which are forcing spring on rapidly.
Pleased to have the Middle spot moving around home staking its territory for the first time today.
At least 2 Great spots drumming regularly now.
Blackbirds have only started singing for the last few evenings, still somewhat subdued fashion.
Yellowhammer also started singing about a week ago while the Wood Lark is a new arrival and a very welcome one today.
May be my first starlings in Liplje !

There are new flowers to be found almost by the day including Primrose, Squill, 
Wild strawberry, Trout lilly (Erythronium dens-canis) Pulmonaria, Bugle ( Ajuga reptans), Speedwell sp. and Red deadnettle. Have also seen the first cherry blossom.

Heard the subdued song of Hawfinch in the valley bottom in the beech wood behind our house although unable to locate it. 
Song thrush singing close by again.
Cirl Bunting again singing from different perches around the house.
Black woodpecker again apparently after some weeks absence.Woodpecker sp. drumming at 2or3 locations.
8 of the Ravens soaring together at great height and some display flight seen. 
Again very much a spring type day with 1 or 2 butterfly's (one possible Large Tortoishell Nymphalis polychloros) and bumblebees on the wing. Also a blue squill (scilla) sp.flowering in in our wood.

Certainly seems to be a feeling of Spring in the air today.
Jays seen sitting together and chasing through the woods giving atypical calls, maybe springtime ritual ? Also heard unusual call which have identified as Golden Oriole, can only assume it was mimicked by Jay.
Buzzards all up soaring.
Middle Spot at feeding station on fat for first time.
Cirl Bunting moving around our garden singing from different locations for over an hour.

Weather has turned mild again with no night frosts.
Both Cirl Bunting and Nuthatches singing.
